The Colorado Front Range area is one of the best places in this country to learn, practice and enjoy Argentine tango. This is due not only to our own efforts, but to the efforts of many local dancers who together formed Tango Colorado. It's a great pleasure to play our part in supporting Tango Colorado & enhancing the tango life here through our DoTH private lessons, performances, teaching group classes, hosting Visiting Teacher Workshops, milongas, taking students on tango safari's, providing written material addressing the many rich topics raised in this beautiful dance, & other tango events and activities.
Our Teachers
To continue growing as dancers & to enhance our performance skills & provide fresh material to our students, we constantly invest in taking private & master classes from visiting master teachers & performers. We also take “tango safaris” abroad to study intensively.
Ongoing Advanced Seminar & Private Training:
| For tango teachers, there's no substitute for spending time in Buenos Aires soaking up the environment of tango's birthplace. Every year since 2003, we've gone down to study with our favorite teachers, sometimes for a month or more at a time. In 2005, we initiated our partnership with Luciana Valle in the acclaimed TangoIntensivo(tm) sessions in Buenos Aires, and in 2007 we initiated our TangoEncuentro(tm) festivals in Boulder, Colorado in close cooperation with Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne. |
