Tomás Howlin needs no introduction to many of you - he was one of the pioneering Argentine traveling teachers to truly leave his mark on this community. Native of Buenos Aires, Tomás brings and shares 11 years of teaching and performing in Argentina, North America and Europe. Equally adept at the social dance of tango in both salon and performance representations, his breadth of experience both transcends and includes common stylistic distinctions in tango. He dances and teaches authentic Argentine Tango, and has been privileged to study with the greatest teachers of all time. His knowledge and pedagogy are unique and exceptional. Tomás believes in a natural, comfortable and thoughtful tango; a way of dancing that is unique for each person. Currently one of the most sought-after and popular teachers in North America among those of all stylistic persuasions, Tomás is appreciated for his sharp eye, gentle humor and accessibility.
